BLM Requirements:
- 6 Foot tall fencing
- Minimum 400 square feet per animal
- shelter (depending on your state)
Whether you have your own trailer, rent one or hire a private hauler, the following requirements are necessary when choosing a trailer:
- solid floor
- solid top
- slants MUST be removed or tied back
- NO straight load trailers
- NO hay nets or buckets in trailer
- NO RAMPS that are also the door
There are three ways in which you may Adopt a Mustang:
- The Online Corral Auction
- Attend a Satellite Adoption Event
- Visit Holding Facility
You must fill out the BLM Adoption Forms and be approved by BLM Staff to be officially approved for Adoption of up to 4 Wild Mustangs at one time.
